I can definitely relate. My concerns change every day but currently I’m thinking about food banks. I know that there are people in my city struggling to put food on the table.

So true. We all need to be thinking about what we can do to help. Many people in this country will be hungry. People will die because of Trump's cruelty. He could care less.

Excellent work Beth. As I read it, I was so reminded of your family in Batesville, our hometown.

What a mess we are in; I’m especially saddened near my end of days

Keep up the good work and hopeful nature,

Lex

Thank you, Lex. I so appreciate your comment, your appreciation of my work, and your encouragement. It means a lot to me. I always think of the friendship of our families, how lovely your parents were.

I feel sure we will overcome this national tragedy, but with the enormous amount of destruction, how long will it take? We all must do what we can. You do the work every day. Thank you for that! Peace and love.

Just love your writing Beth. “Sinkhole of a mouth” is a classic. Lake County next to us in Sonoma County has some of the poorest and most conservative voters in the Bay Area. They stand to lose a great deal with Trump if they haven’t already.

Thanks ever so much. I truly appreciate it.

I was pretty happy with that phrase, too. (😉) Haha!

Of course, the losses will be felt everywhere. There will be so much suffering. It's beyond tragic.
