THE ANTICHRIST COMETH
His name is Peter Thiel
BILLIONAIRE TECH BRO Peter Thiel has given speeches in San Francisco, and now Paris, basically claiming that the people promoting climate control and the regulation of AI—people like Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg—are “legionnaires of the Antichrist.” Let me be clear: Thiel is equating government oversight of Silicon Valley with the Biblically evil Antichrist.
Not a bad bit of Jesus manipulation for a white male immigrant racist from South Africa who founded PayPal with fellow white male immigrant racist from South Africa Elon Musk. These two peas in this “Christian” nationalist pod are known for their promotion of white supremacy, their disdain or outright hatred for women, and their connections to Nazi ideology and/or sympathizers. Thiel is putting an unholy spin on what actually are protections for the rest of us humans who also live in this techo-centric world, even if we don’t make billions from it.
As a very dear gay friend just said to me, “There’s nothing less attractive than a gay Nazi.”
Musk’s and Thiel’s companies have benefited from billions in federal contracts, subsidies, and loans, and in 2025, they took on direct, very influential roles in advising the Trump 2.0 U.S. government. Musk screamed the power of DOGE to reduce government waste till our ears were ringing, but all he succeeded in doing was crippling our government institutions and resources and slashing the social safety net for American families and children in need, and for people of color across the world who for decades had received life-saving USAID. Musk became the richest man in the world by taking advantage of U.S. resources—but fuck the children who now go hungry.
We’re going to call Thiel and Musk Libertarian Authoritarians, no matter what they call themselves in their global P.R. What’s happening in the U.S. today, with Brown Shirts Reincarnated marching on the streets of Minneapolis, is a direct result of what Thiel has been working toward for at least the past couple of decades. He’s a cold gay man who has no interest in the rights or well-being of anyone except rich cold white men like himself.
And now Thiel is presenting this notion of government protections as the Antichrist? And end-of-times fears about AI taking over and Earth being scorched by global warming as the work of the Devil? It’s very clear what Thiel really wants—for Tech Bros to have ultimate freedom and sovereignty to control the world exactly as they see fit, and he’s wrapping this message in the smoke and mirrors of white nationalist “Christianity.” He’s essentially calling acting humanely—in the interest of Humanity—the Antichrist.
I GREW UP in the Methodist Church, and we didn’t talk about the Antichrist. In case you don’t know: In Christian theology, the Antichrist is predicted to appear before The Last Judgment and is an enemy of Christ, deceiving humanity. The Antichrist represents the culmination of evil and deception, designed to mimic Christ but lead people away from God.
Does that sound like a bunch of tree-hugging, wind-farming do-gooders? Plenty of people have pointed to Thiel himself as a more likely Antichrist, and some of us would actually vote for Donald Trump for that title, not to mention his entire greedy family. At least we have the entire Nine Circles of Hell to decide where to put them. 😘
Meanwhile, Thiel and his Tech Bro buds will continue to make billions from AI technologies, partially on our backs as the price of our utilities go up to pay for their infrastructure. Why can’t billionaires pay meaningful taxes as their fair share? Why can’t they foot the bills for the mechanics of their own companies that make them filthy rich? How convenient for the T-Bros, especially if no government regulators are breathing down their necks.
But hasn’t Thiel seen The Terminator movies? We all know how AI is going to end: The machines will win the war. If humans exist at all, it will be as slaves to the machines. In the final Terminator movie, Thiel’s personal robot will kill him because his creator always has to die.
Of course, Trump is well-known for his mendacity and corruption, for doing anything it takes—illegal, immoral, or unethical—to get everything he wants. Takes one to know one. So was that Thiel’s signal to become a Trump supporter in 2016—and then to instruct his protégé J.D. Vance to become Trump’s lackey? It certainly wasn’t Trump’s religious devotion that attracted Thiel. We know Trump couldn’t care less about God or Jesus until it behooves him politically (Hello, evangelicals) or financially (Looking at you, Trump Bible).
In September and October 2025, Thiel gave four two-hour lectures at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, which was founded in 1903 and is the nation’s oldest and largest public affairs forum. It is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and hosts hundreds of annual events featuring prominent speakers on topics including politics, culture, society, and the economy, with a focus on civil discourse.
According to The Washington Post…
Tech billionaire Peter Thiel recently warned that Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and critics of technology or artificial intelligence are “legionnaires of the Antichrist” in private lectures on Christianity that connected government oversight of Silicon Valley to an apocalyptic future, according to recordings reviewed by The Washington Post.
In the four, roughly two-hour lectures, which began last month and culminated Monday at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco, Thiel laid out his religious views to a sold-out audience told to keep the contents “off-the-record,” according to an event listing. He argued that those who propose limits on technology development not only hinder business but also threaten to usher in the destruction of the United States and an era of global totalitarian rule, according to the recordings.

Like Bari Weiss gradually changing CBS to a lighter version of Fox News, Thiel is promoting his Far-Right ideology as soft propaganda—in this case, “religious” and “philosophical” views and thinking. Not business. Not money. And though Thiel proclaims himself to be a Christian, there is nothing of true Christianity found in “Christian” nationalism. The love and compassion of Christ doesn’t promote hate or demonize Democratic politicians; it doesn’t racially profile people of color as inferior or say that women getting the vote was a blow to democracy. It is not anti-humanitarian, and it does not light the fuse of fascism. True Christianity is loving and forgiving, protective of those who need help, and offers that help.
Reuters reported this about the SF lecture series:
Peter Thiel, the billionaire venture capitalist and early supporter of U.S. President Donald Trump, has urged long-time associate Elon Musk to quit the Giving Pledge under which signatories leave the majority of their wealth to charity.
In transcripts and audio of lectures given by Thiel and shared with Reuters, Thiel in September recalled how he recently warned Musk that his wealth would go “to left-wing nonprofits that will be chosen by Bill Gates.”
In 2012, Musk had signed on to the Giving Pledge, which asks signatories to give to charitable causes of their choosing, in their lifetime or in their wills. Thiel recalled that Musk took his concerns about this seriously.
There is a focused narrowness and rigidity about Peter Thiel. One might think that someone with $27 billion would want to give back to make the world, or even his adopted United States, a better place. But his words and actions suggest that, to him, “a better place” is defined as including only the people who believe as he does. Thiel is a smart guy, but despite all his intellectual posturing, he’s very much like the arrogant douchebag tech billionaires on the not-funny-comedy/drama Mountainhead, who think they are God’s great gift to rule the world over all the little people.
An Aside that brings Greenland into Thiel’s orbit and is possibly one of the reasons for Trump’s attention there: Wikipedia has a long list of the companies Thiel owns or is involved with, and a company called Praxis is one of them. Praxis describes itself as an “internet-native nation”, and has stated plans to create a 10,000 population city in the Mediterranean. The point of this and other such cities is that they’d be “experimental, semi-autonomous cities in vacant lands, with acceptance from the countries involved” that are aimed at implementing libertarian theory in practice.
In Thiel’s career Wikipedia segment:
Praxis is a company that seeks to establish a new city-state and has explored Greenland as a possible location. In 2025, when the Danish government was integrating Palantir into the country’s military, police and intelligence services, a major argument put forth by opponents was that the Praxis project (backed by Thiel through his company Pronomos) was a threat to Greenland. Other arguments were concerned with Thiel’s politics in the US and Palantir’s association with American and other European intelligence services, as well as the security risk that might arise from handing citizens’ data to Palantir. The Danish National Police answered with a reference to a 2021 response to the Folketing, but otherwise, the Police, the Danish Security and Intelligence Service and Minister of Justice Peter Hummelgaard refused to comment on the matter.
LAST MONDAY, THIEL delivered his Antichrist manifesto at the prestigious Academy of Moral and Political Sciences in Paris. In WWD:
…The Academy of Moral and Political Sciences is one of the five academies that make up the Institut de France, established in 1795 to promote the advancement of knowledge and intellectual excellence in France…The academy’s aim is to “provide public and private decision-makers with rigorous and independent analyses, the result of the collective work of its members… It ensures the transmission of knowledge and the preservation of French intellectual heritage through the publication of books, reports, and the organization of conferences.” According to the academy, gaining entry is a “rare privilege” reserved for a carefully selected intellectual elite.
Thiel’s invitation came via French philosopher Chantal Delsol, who supports Right/Far-Right unity and might seem to be an ally of Thiel’s. Le Monde described Thiel as a libertarian and said… The ideology, popular in the United States but largely unknown in France, prioritizes individual freedom above all else, promotes deregulated capitalism, and advocates for the state to have only a minimal, even nonexistent, role.
Part of Thiel’s lectures are about his warning of a one-world totalitarian state, which he says would come about because of do-gooders like Thunberg who want to regulate AI or stop climate change. That’s rich, considering that MAGA representatives of Thiel’s friend Trump have been in talks in various European countries about expanding the MAGA doctrine around the world. It’s further ironic that Thiel was in Paris to lecture about “the future of democracy,” when in 2009 he wrote that he no longer believed that freedom and democracy are compatible.
In a conversation with Ross Douthat in June, 2025, in The New York Times, Thiel talked about his theories of stagnation and acceleration. It is complicated, but he basically believes that “American life” and all that that encompasses has been stagnating for decades, and Thiel’s answer for providing acceleration was Donald Trump. That’s a pretty clear definer of his POV.
…This is a conversation I had with Elon back in 2024, and we had all these conversations. I had the seasteading version (the concept of creating permanent, autonomous, and floating communities—seasteads—in international waters) with Elon where I said: If Trump doesn’t win, I want to just leave the country. And then Elon said: There’s nowhere to go. There’s nowhere to go.
Thiel has identified Carl Schmitt, a Nazi jurist and legal theorist, as a major philosophical influence. Schmitt is known for providing the legal justification for Hitler’s violent purges and arguing that liberal democracy is too weak, necessitating a strongman to “save civilization” by suspending the rule of law.
I HAVE A suggestion for Mr. Thiel: Please go away. If your idea of acceleration is fascism, which you seem to equate with libertarian freedom, we know exactly where that puts you. I can’t for the life of me understand why all these bastions of knowledge, culture, and reason are inviting you to spread your Gospel—the Gospel of the True Antichrist, Peter Thiel.
This is Part One in an ongoing investigation into the Thielverse — the money, the ideology, and the infrastructure shaping American power.

SECRET ENDING…

I’m not liking the ending to this book, movie, dream, life so I’m thinking about trying to do one more as in reincarnation where there is a much better ending.
Thiel and Co are terrifying and sickening just like the characters in Mountainhead: Life is a game rigged for them to win. They have too much money and too much power. That must change or we're doomed.
